I’m a big fan of pocketed pants. I think it’s because I’ve seen too many movies where the hero gets attacked and has to pull his handgun out of his pocket and shoot the bad guy. Also, I find it hard to believe that none of the bad guys think to check for this possibility…but I digress! However, some pockets are more useful than others depending on the intended use. The ones built into regular pants are great at holding my keys or wallet but they’re not quite deep enough for me to comfortably carry my Glock. So, if you’re carrying a lot of stuff around you should look into Cargo Pants.
What kind of shoes do you wear with cargo pants?
We’ve heard a lot of people asking the question of what kind of shoes they should wear with their cargo pants. We think that sneakers and arch-support inserts are good choices (thanks to those Nike Free 5.0s), but you might want to pair your pants with something a little more fashionable. We personally prefer loafers, but other nice options include oxfords, boat shoes, or even colored plimsolls. Frankly, there are tons of options that will look great with your pants, so don’t be afraid to experiment!
